With a demeanor as cool as the ice under his skates, Joe Sakic was one of the most clutch playoff performers in NHL history. He skated in 172 playoff games in his 21-year NHL career, all with the Nordiques/Avalanche franchise. As he did in the regular season, he averaged more than a point per game with 188 points (84 goals, 104 assists) in his playoff career. Admired for his leadership as much as his consistent play, Sakic led the Avalanche to two Stanley Cup championships. In the 1995-96 Cup-winning season, he scored 120 points in the regular season and then added 34 points in the playoffs to earn Conn Smythe Trophy honors. He helped Colorado repeat as champions five years later as he scored 118 points and earned the Hart Memorial Trophy. Sakic has signed this limited edition (50) 16" x 24" image featuring him taking one of his patented slap shots past the blue line in the Stanley Cup finals in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated's Five Step Process.
