After winning his fourth Stanley Cup as a member of the Oilers in 1988, the ‘Great One' was traded across the border to the Los Angeles Kings. Gretzky quickly helped the Kings turn their franchise around and improved the landscape of the non-traditional hockey city for the NHL. The Kings reached the playoffs in each of Gretzky's first five seasons, and reached the Stanley Cup Finals for the first time in franchise history in 1993. The following season Wayne passed his ideal Gordie Howe when he scored his 802 goal becoming the NHL's all time goal scoring leader. Gretzky played eight seasons in LA, changing the culture of hockey in California while doing so. This specially designed shadow box contains a limited edition (199) designed Los Angeles Kings ‘motion' image with an autographed clear acrylic stick blade. Wayne Gretzky has inked his name in gold paint pen. The overall framed piece measures"24x16". Gretzky's signature was witnessed under UDA's Five-Step Authentication Process.
