Custom on-field style jersey with everything sewn on, size Adult XL. Hand-signed and inscribed by Dick Nen. In his major league debut September 18, 1963, he was inserted into the lineup as a pinch hitter in the top of the seventh inning against the second-place Cardinals at Busch Stadium and lined out to centerfield off Bob Gibson, the future Hall of Famer. Remaining in the game as the first baseman, Nen batted again in the ninth with the Dodgers trailing 5-4. Facing right-handed relief pitcher Ron Taylor, Nen hit a game-tying home run "over the roof" in right field to send the game into extra innings. The Dodgers won in the 13th frame to sweep the Cardinals in the three-game series, increasing their league lead to four games. They won the 1963 pennant by six lengths and swept the New York Yankees in the 1963 World Series. The lot / autograph(s) includes an official PSA/DNA hologram and matching COA for authenticity purposes.Authentication: PSA COA
