Paul Coffey played 21 seasons in the National Hockey League with some of his most memorable coming from the first couple of seasons with the Edmonton Oilers®. He was drafted sixth overall by the Oilers® in the 1980 NHL® Draft and was a crucial member of the championship teams from the 1983-84, 1984-85 and 1986-87 seasons. Coffey won the Norris Trophy, awarded to the league's best defenseman, while playing for the Oilers® in the 1984-85 and 1985-86 seasons.
